"I'm a personal stylist and image consultant so I work in a very creative profession and have always loved customising clothes and accessories.
I love jewellery and after never being able to find the kind of designs I wanted, I set about looking for a way to create my own. I stumbled across silver clay purely by accident and I have been in love with it ever since. It is a fabulous medium to work with and enables you to produce some beautiful and truly individual pieces.
What makes silver even more amazing is that it's mystically considered to improve speech and eloquence. It is also purported to attract, enhance and store the energies of gemstones, as well as draw out negative energies. I trained in silver clay with Jewellery Designers Melanie Blaikie and Tracey Spurgin. I have also reached Level 3 of the Diploma in Precious Clay at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery. I've learned so many techniques and I'm enjoying sharing these with other like-minded, creative people as well as continuing to experiment along my own journey with silver clay."
